An 'I Can Be… President' doll created by American fashion designer Chris Benz will be available through pre-sale from Thursday.

The designer has dressed Michelle Obama in the past.

The doll wears a bright pink power suit that includes a jacket with a ruffled American flag hemline. Office-appropriate wedges have been put on its feet.

It is just one of a series of 'I Can Be… Barbies', designed to inspire young girls who are beginning to think about future careers.

Designed by Robert Best, the same person who created the Mad Men Barbie dolls as well as the Grace Kelly bridal doll, the royal couple figurines are wearing tiny replicas of the outfits they wore when they were married in London last year.

The plastic Duke wears a miniature Colonel of the Irish Guards uniform complete with a striking blue sash.

His figurine wife wears a small version of the stunning Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown.

Faux pearl buttons and lace have been stitched into the little dress while a sparkling faux diamond ring sits upon the doll’s finger.

The royal Barbies are not the only versions of the iconic doll that have quickly sold out upon release.

A limited-edition red-haired doll by shoe designer Christian Louboutin sold out on Net-A-Porter.com, its exclusive stockist, in just one day in 2009.
