HARRODS TAKES IN THE FRENCH LAUNDRY

Opening on 1 October for just 10 days, the collaboration will see the London luxury department store’s fourth floor Georgian Restaurant transformed, bringing in the French Laundry tableware and staff to complement the three-Michelin-starred venue’s signature nine course set menus.

Bookings open on 1 September for a table, where the £250 set menus will be served in a single lunch and dinner sitting each evening for up to 70 diners at a time. Alongside its own classics, the French Laundry pop-up will serve a number of dishes exclusively created for Harrods.

This marks the first venture outside the US for chef-owner Thomas Keller, who set up his French-influenced restaurant in Yountville, Napa Valley, in 1994. He has since expanded, including the establishment of three-Michelin-starred restaurant Per Se in New York.
